Ticket Season Policy Change: Effective April 18, 2026

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Casco Bay Lines will begin its Peak Season rates. As of that date, only yellow (peak season) tickets will be accepted for travel. Blue off-peak tickets will no longer be valid for boarding, even if they haven’t expired.

What Should I Do With My Blue Tickets?

Before They Expire: If your blue ticket has not yet expired, you can, a) return it to the ticket window for a refund to your original payment method; a small handling fee applies: $0.25 per passenger ticket / $1.00 per vehicle ticket, or b) exchange towards a new ticket as outlined below.

After They Expire: Expired blue tickets can be traded in at the ticket counter toward the purchase of a new ticket of the same type (adult for- adult, child-for-child, etc.). Trade-in fee: $0.25 per passenger ticket / $1.00 per vehicle ticket. Note: If the new peak season ticket costs more, you’ll pay the difference.

Policy effective April 18, 2026. Applies to all single adult, senior, disabled, bicycle, dog, and vehicle tickets. Commuter passes not affected.
