Construction of the Machigonne II replacement vessel is well underway at Senesco Marine in Rhode Island. The vessel is being constructed in 10 modules and the first three modules are currently being fabricated. Along with the work that the shipyard is doing, the propulsion provider, ABB, has begun work on the electrical hybrid portion of the vessel.
