Casco Bay Lines Announces Extension of Off-Season Rates

On Tuesday afternoon, Casco Bay Island Transit District (CBITD) announced that it will be extending its off-season rates in response to COVID-19. Peak-season rates were scheduled to go into effect on Saturday, April 18, 2020. For many reasons, including that those traveling have been primarily those essential workers supporting our community during the COVID-19 crisis, the decision was made to postpone this rate increase until two weeks after a return to regularly scheduled service. Tickets continue to be available for purchase in the terminal.

We remain deeply committed to the CBITD island communities and will continue to do what we can to lessen the impacts of this crisis on our customers, our crews, and our community. Please continue to refer to the Coronavirus Resources page on our website as policies and procedures are updated regularly.
