Dashboard & Form Links for the GUIDE (Gate Updater:Info-alerts, Departures, Events).


The Gate Display Dashboard is used to monitor the latest messages sent to the Gate Displays.


The Admin Form provides full control of gate displays, including systemwide
alerts, custom text and Bay Mist event messaging.


The Ticket Office Form supports canned gate alerts, departure time and island stop information
for daily gate operations.


How the Gate Updater System Works
  • This dashboard shows what each gate display should show in real-time.
  • ⚠️ If the outside gate displays lose internet connection, the physical sign may not update even if the dashboard does.
  • Admin Staff can post Systemwide Info-alerts, Bay Mist Events, or Custom Messages for all gates.
  • Ops Agents can post only gate-specific Departure Info and Gate Alerts.
  • Top and bottom panels always come from the same form submission.
  • Custom Text on the bottom panel is optional; if left blank, the bottom shows date, day, and time.
  • Gate Alerts override all messages temporarily for up to 35 minutes.
  • Scripts run nightly to ensure departure times and stop lists match the current day’s schedule.
  • If a trip is running past its scheduled departure time, the departure info will expire and won’t be posted. In these cases, select “Now Boarding” and send a RESET after departure.
How RESET Works
  • RESET is an option on the first page of the form.
  • Submitting RESET clears the active message and restores default displays.
  • Always use RESET to clear stale or stuck messages.
  • Gate Alerts and Departures are cleared automatically overnight.
  • Systemwide Info-alerts and Bay Mist messages remain until replaced or cleared with RESET.
Message Priority
  • 1️⃣ Gate Alert — highest priority, expires in 35 minutes.
  • 2️⃣ Departure — expires 3 minutes after scheduled time.
  • 3️⃣ Bay Mist — Gate 1 only (Admin).
  • 4️⃣ Systemwide Info-alert — latest message sent (Admin).
  • 5️⃣ RESET — clears blocked messages.
  • Note: Gate Alert expiration times appear only on the dashboard.
