After a successful kick-off of the schedule and fleet analysis project, Casco Bay Lines continues to seek input from the public. We were very pleased with the number of people who were able to stop by the Open House held at the terminal on August 29th, meet the project team, and provide valuable comments and insight. The consulting team left with an even greater appreciation for Casco Bay Lines’ operations and mission.
Casco Bay Lines would like to gather even more input from those on the islands. On September 26th and 27th, we will be coming to you. We plan to stop at each island with the Bay Mist for approximately 30 minutes. Those who are interested in learning more about the project, or want to provide input through a public forum or just leave a comment on our comment board, are invited on the Bay Mist. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, September 26th:
At Peaks Island: 5:45 PM – 6:30 PM
At LDI : 6:35 PM – 7:05 PM
At GDI (State Pier): 7:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Wednesday, September 27th:
At Long Island: 6:15 PM – 6:45 PM
At Cliff Island: 7:15 PM – 7:45 PM
At Chebeague Island: 8:00 PM – 8:30 PM
We encourage all of those who wish to engage in this process to come and visit us on the Bay Mist. Additionally, surveys will remain available online at www.CBLSURVEY.com until September 15th. To date, we have received approximately 400 survey responses.
