The Casco Bay Island Transit District, a quasi-municipal ferry boat operator in Casco Bay, is seeking proposals for engineering services for the evaluation and design of Phase II terminal improvements at the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal located at 56 Commercial Street. This locally administered project is being undertaken with funding from the Federal Transit Administration which is being matched with funding from the Maine Department of Transportation (“MaineDOT”) and Casco Bay Lines. The primary deliverables will be a preliminary design report (PDR) and final plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E) package. Proposals must be received by February 2, 2017 at 3:00 PM.  A copy of the RFP may be obtained from the MaineDOT website (www.maine.gov/mdot/cpo/) or Casco Bay Lines web site (www.cascobaylines.com) or by contacting:
